The COMET Program will offer the next round of our well-received "pay-as-you-go" webinar series.

Every year on April 22, over a billion people in 190 countries take action for Earth Day. GLOBE students plant trees, clean up their communities, contact their elected officials, and more—all on behalf of the environment.

The COSMIC program of UCAR Community Programs recently received some welcome goods news with regard to the budget agreement that President Obama signed into law in January. In the bill signed by the President, Congress named COSMIC-2 as a “program of record” line item in the NOAA budget.

Over a thousand visitors joined the fun on October 26th for Super Science Saturday at the Mesa Lab. The theme this year was "Science is Everywhere" and there were many interactive exhibitors and participants sharing their "super" science with kids of all ages.

Science Careers Webinar Series hosted by SOARS 3 December 2013, 3:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. SOARS will be launching a new webinar series on careers in the atmospheric sciences with a presentation on “Internship Opportunities at NCAR/UCAR/UCP.” The inaugural webinar is a collaborative effort between all internship coordinators at NCAR/UCAR/UCP and will feature speakers from CISL, EOL and SOARS.

The Sandy Sea Level Rise Planning Tool team. A collaborative effort involving USGCRP, as well as Federal agencies including NOAA, FEMA, and the US Army Corps of Engineers---was awarded the GreenGov Presidential Climate Champion Award in November.
